Sign Up for a Juneteenth License Plate

On June 7, 2023, Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards signed a bill to authorize the sale of Juneteenth License Plates as a special license plate available for vehicles in Louisiana.  Members of the SWLA Juneteenth Committee were instrumental in getting the bill passed and witnessed the signing of it.

A design was submitted to the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles and we are waiting for the final approval and notice that they are available for purchase through the Louisiana OMV.  A picture and a description will be posted when they are available.  If you would like to receive notification about  the license plates, sign up below.
